Artist Submission Requirements
Our curators are always looking for extraordinary professional artists whose work is inspiring, intellectually challenging and stimulating. The artist must be master of his craft or medium and have the experience necessary to complete commissions effectively and efficiently. The artist is an extremely steady producer, can meet deadlines with high-quality work and continually seeks to improve. Sculptors are carefully selected for their ability to handle monumental sculpture commissions which often involve engineering, meeting deadlines and modifying designs.
We meet with artists only by appointment and will discuss business arrangements only after review of submission and acceptance to the gallery.
E-mail requirements for submission:
- Your letter of application should include your commitments over the next two years and an idea of the number of pieces we can expect to receive from you initially and on an annual basis. It should also include why you feel your work is extraordinary.
- 6 low resolution j-peg images of recent work as well as the following documents in Word:
- Information page corresponding to images (title, size, medium, retail pricing)
- Resume (include where you are currently represented)
- Artist Statement
After review of your submission, we will contact you with any questions we may have. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Please allow up to 60 days to respond as there are three people reviewing the work.
